ASI CONTENT Best Sommelier of Europe to najważniejszy konkurs sommelierski na kontynencie. Jest organizowany przez Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, sprawdza umiejętności sommelierów według najwyższych standardów branży i wyłania mistrza tej profesji.
Startują w nim topowi sommelierzy z całej Europy, a wydarzenie i jego wyniki śledzi całe międzynarodowe środowisko wina. Poza samą rywalizacją, konkurs jest niezwykle ważny przez swoją rolę w tworzeniu społeczności sommelierów i kształtowania norm i zasad branży.
Edycja 2027 odbędzie się w Polsce, a zawody zostaną rozegrane w dwóch lokalizacjach - w Nałęczowie i Lublinie. Najlepsi sommelierzy Europy staną do rywalizacji we wrześniu 2027 roku.
We are delighted to announce that Château Phélan Ségur has become a Partner of the ASI CONTEST Best Sommelier of Europe 2027.
One of Saint-Estephe’s most distinguished properties, Château Phélan Ségur has been producing wines since the early 19th century. The estate is recognised globally for elegance, consistency and distinctive character of its wines - qualities that helped to build its reputation and made it a benchmark name in Bordeaux and beyond.
For an event of this calibre, partners matter. Their presence reflects both the high standards and the importance of the competition. Château Phélan Ségur will also take part in two additional initiatives: Polish Sommelier Association Championship 2026 (already concluded) and the Polish Boot Camp 2027.
About the contest
The ASI CONTEST Best Sommelier of Europe is the most prestigious sommelier competition on the continent. Organised by Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, it brings together Europe’s top sommeliers, tests their skills against the highest standards and decides the continent’s champion.
Closely followed by wine enthusiasts and international wine trade alike, the competition plays a crucial role in building and strengthening the sommelier community and shaping industry practices.
The 2027 edition will be hosted in Poland with competitions held at two locations: Nałęczów and Lublin. The next Best Sommelier of Europe will be determined in September 2027.
